Putting Weight On And Feeling Better
Definitely Feeling Better
I have been out on my bike a few times but it has been slow to get motivated to get on the bike. I used to be so good with my training regimes and fitness that I really do find it difficult to find the same motivation with lower levels of fitness.
I presume this to be depression of some sort or exhaustion. However the more I eat the better I feel and things come together a little better. I am definitely thinking that food and exercise are a the bottom of my unwellness and so is smoking.
I am well on the way to the road of recovery though and cannot wait to be out in the clear on the other side. I have had so many setbacks to do with this that I have almost given up a couple of times, so I am feeling better that things are moving in the right direction.
Things I have been focusing on lately:
- Hygiene
- Nutrition
- Exercise
- Environment
- Sleep
- Medication
I have been focusing on the above, to help my self along this very tight and suffocating path that most would call a rut.
Nutrition and exercise have helped a lot with the build blocks to keep me focused on the rest of it. Environment has been another key thing in my well being. A good clean environment at home as well has helped a lot.
The things I have missed off the list are things that will come into a build and routine later on, this is an ongoing work in progress and I don't expect it to go smoothly straight a way, ups and downs, peaks and troughs.
Sometimes things can get on top so much that all the basics of a daily routine can fall away and leave us feeling strange and distant and I think this is called a rut, they are not so easy to get out of, however I am doing my best.
